Homestyling for color - LILACISM

Must be some kind of disease I have right now.

Today I realized that I've been doing a lot of lilac or shades of it in my life! 

Lilac is associated with the lighter shades of purple. It's a feminine color with a bit of a maternal feeling. It also suggests refinement along with grace, elegance and something special.  Like lavender, lilac can be a bit nostalgic. It goes very well with black and white or green or coral (my most recent and lovely discovery), or even yellow. Anyway I've been overdosing with it for quite sometime! Take a look

Hoje eu percebi que tenho vindo a fazer um montão de coisas lilás, na minha vida!

O Lilás está associado com os tons mais claros do roxo. É uma cor feminina, com um pouco de sentimento materno. Também sugere refinamento e graciosidade, elegância e algo especial. Como o lavanda, lilás pode ser um pouco nostálgico mas pode muito bem ser misturado com preto ou branco, verde ou coral (uma das minhas mais recentes descobertas), ou até amarelo! Bom parece que tenho andado em overdose de lilás já algum tempo, ora vejam.

I think these shades are great for bedrooms and rest full places.
That is why I like to use it a lot in vacation houses.
