Here's another one of our old prejudices and common decoration in Portugal; PAINT old furniture! And when I say that I do not mean old classic and antique type furniture classified nineteenth century, I say old furniture from Grandma's house! In my Homestyling meetings I hear it every time. "Paint the furniture?! Ah, but it's such a good solid wood" ... But it will not fail to be good, I say. It will still be good and more beautiful... and the wood will not get damaged... it will just be different and lighter looking... Well my clients trust me and I'm lucky on that but it's not an easy task... Now look at the pictures I have gathered, I confess that it took a while to find the right images for this post, and tell me what you think.

Aqui está mais um dos nossos velhos e comuns preconceitos na decoração em Portugal; PINTAR Móveis antigos!! E quando digo antigos não quero dizer antiguidades clássicas e classificadas tipo móveis séc XIX, digo mesmo móveis velhos da casa da avó!! Nas consultas de Homestyling que faço todas as semanas acabo sempre por ouvir; "Pintar o móvel?!? Ah, mas ele é tão bom?!... de madeira maciça e boa... "... Mas ele não vai deixar de ser bom... vai é passar a ficar mais bonito... e a madeira não vai ficar estragada... vai ficar é diferente e mais leve... A minha sorte é que as minhas clientes confiam em mim mas não é tarefa fácil...
Agora, vejam as imagens que reuni de fontes diferentes (confesso que isto demorou algum tempo), e digam-me o que acham disto.
