Esta noite vou, finalmente poder partilhar convosco, as fotos deste projecto especial cuja conclusão podem ver hoje à noite às 19:00 na sicMulher. Para saberem um pouco mais sobre esta história...
A Vera é uma mãe separada que um dia, após muitas horas de choro do seu bebé com 3 meses, o levou ao hospital onde acabou por saber que o pequenino tinha 1 perna partida, 2 costelas partidas, graves lesões no crâneo, tudo lesões internas e pouco visíveis, provocadas pelo pai que o atirava contra o berço.
No hospital foi informada que o filho estava em perigo de vida, e que provavelmente não sobreviveria. 3 meses de internamento e muito sofrimento depois, o Rodrigo recuperou com algumas lesões permanentes, mas com a esperança de vida que não tinha no dia em que entrou. A Vera ficou alguns meses sem os 2 filhos, que lhe foram retirados pela Segurança Social e Protecção de menores, até conseguir provar que não tinha responsabilidade nos maus tratos dos filhos, e que ela própria sofria de violência doméstica.
Conseguiu recompor a sua vida sózinha e quando a conhecemos vivia num apartamento com apenas 1 quarto onde ela dormia, no chão no meio dos filhos. Podemos dizer que a vida desta jovem mãe mudou, no dia em que nos conheceu, e que o Querido Mudei a Casa entrou lá em casa.
Histórias destas não nos aparecem todos os dias e foi com a ajuda de todas as empresas que colaboram com o Querido Mudei a Casa que conseguimos fazer este mega projecto. Um obrigada a todos os que o tornaram possível e não percam logo à noite.

In the hospital she was informed that her son was in danger of life and was unlikely to survive. 3 months of hospital and much suffering, baby Rodrigo recovered with some permanent damage, but with life expectancy. Vera was a few months without the two sons that were taken by the Social Security & Children Protection Program until she could prove that she had no responsability for the mistreatment of both children, and that she herself had suffered abuse from her husband.

She managed to rebuild her life alone and when we met her she lived in an apartment with only one room where she slept on the floor between the children's beds. We can say that the life of this young mother has changed, the day we met her because she wrote to us to change her kids bedrooms and she ended up getting her whole house done!
